Brian Barber - Stonehenge Section
It is with deep sadness that I have to inform you of the death of Brian Barber who was the husband of former VMCC President, Betty Barber.
He had been seriously ill in recent months but passed away earlier this week. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Brian will be known to many of you as a long-standing active member of the Stonehenge section and he and Betty often welcomed visitors to their home in Salisbury to view his impressive collection of motorcycles.
We wish to extend our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to Betty at this difficult time.
For those who wish to pay their last respects, the funeral service and wake will be held at the Guildhall in Salisbury on Wednesday 9th May at 14.00 hours. A cavalcade of motorcycles will accompany the cortege from Betty’s house (Dingley Dell). Family and close friends will attend the cremation service later in the day.
